I don’t think we’re supposed to get snow when some of the trees have yet to lose any of their leaves. But that’s what happened this week. And I’m not complaining, because we ended up with just a couple inches over two days, and Buffalo (60 miles to our west) has up to 6 feet of snow! I was lazy and didn’t get out to take photos early in the morning when it was much more beautiful, but here’s what the street looked like early in the afternoon.
Even after two days of snow and wind, most of the leaves on these trees and others on the street are still on the tree!

It does look beautiful….but I’m glad it’s with you.
That does look extraordinary. A lot of weight for the branches to hold as well. Super pictures.
lovely photos…but I bet the trees weren’t happy!
Well, that is unusual! Makes for some lovely photos, though.
Glad you missed all the snow in Buffalo.
my oh my snow already – but it does look pretty
I was thinking about you yesterday when I saw your weather on the news. What a shock! as jill says, it does make for pretty pictures though.
That’s an unusual sight indeed. I hope you are keeping warm and cosy
Oh, I do think snow is lovely to look at . . . in photos, of course . . . please keep it all up there! 🙂
I just love these sorts of things. Such a beautiful contrast. I hope it lasts for awhile!
Snow is pretty – but I’m with Melissa I’m glad you have it not me!
This happened to us here one year and it does look so strange! I’ve been listening to the weather news and was wondering how you were faring. Hope it clears soon for you all.
