I’m combining two favorite memes: Abi’s One Photo & Twenty Words, and Helena’s Zoom In, Zoom Out.
They knew it would be a big project,
but they didn’t realize quite how many parts this swing set had!
And now, a little update:
These photos were taken on Sunday night. By Tuesday it was beginning to come together, but it’s still not done. There are only a couple of hours of daylight left by the time Matt gets home from work, and it takes two to decipher the directions. The goal is to have it done in time for Skylar’s birthday party. That wouldn’t be a problem, except we’ll be in the Adirondacks for three days this weekend.
This one can’t wait. Last night she was able to go down the slide for the first time. She has her own tool set and is out there “helping” every minute.
At least they’ve got plenty of room for it…..and she’s going to love it.
lovely to see her out there helping and what a lovely setting for her new swing
Exciting. Remember such projects when mine were young. The toy arrives and then ……..it has to be fitted together!
My favorite part of these photos is Skyler sitting there patiently “helping” with the project – priceless!
those days have gone for me but I remember them well!
Oh, I’m another one can remember doing this! We built a slide with a little house underneath. great times. She’ll remember the building as much as the playing I think
This is SO cute, Karen! I love that Skylar is in all of the photos, offering to help and patiently waiting.
This is super cute. I loved how Skylar is watching intently in both photos!
Classic DIY project. Gee it looks complicated though.
I love that first photo, with the little one keeping an eye on things!
How sweet that she can ‘help! I know it will come together soon for you all!
Love that she has her own tools and can help – hope it is finished in time for the birthday party.
Oh, bless her. Hope it gets done in time.
How sweet that she is supervising and lending a hand! It will be marvellous!
