It’s past time for trick or treaters, and we’ve only had about four sets appear at our door. Probably the least ever, and although the weather is dreary, it’s been worse on Halloween before. We have a LOT of candy to dispense with!
But we had our own celebration. There were several of my friends who wanted to meet Caleb, so Sarah suggested we have a little open house today. I made some invitations with my Silhouette, and the Bleeding Cowboy font.
We had a lovely time, and although I took photos of two of the desserts, I never did take a photo of the whole table. Here are the cupcakes, decorations courtesy of Target. (I love that store.)
And a yummy pumpkin pie dip with gingersnaps that we found at the Amish market.
The hit of the party, of course, was the cutest pumpkin ever!
And here, with Grandma.
I made Skylar and Caleb Halloween cards. I don’t really own any Halloween stamps, so I used my Silhouette and came up with this. Not really cute enough for babies, but it’s really more for the parents anyway. I’ll need to be more prepared next year.
The inside was really cute, but my only photo was blurry. If you celebrate Halloween, I hope it was a safe and fun one!
How fun! Caleb is such a cutie! We had a low number too – mostly middle school age kids, maybe 25-30 total. Tons of candy leftover.
He certainly does look cute…..as do your cupcakes. We only had a couple of groups calling….but trick or treating isn’t nearly as common here in the UK.
What fun cupcakes! And that is the cutest pumpkin ever 🙂
We only had one set of trick or treaters, and I have to confess to being thankful for that!
Oh my gosh, Karen, I can’t believe how big Caleb looks! And just as cute as ever too.
LOVE your tag invites ~ and your cupcakes look yummy too!
He looks like such a happy and cuddly young man – and that photo with you is gorgeous Karen!
Such a super photo of you both! You look so very happy … and the Little Pumpkin is adorable too. My goodness, that’s a feast on the table!
That is certainly a cute pumpkin! Our church hosted a Trunk R Treat, so I decorated my trunk for the ladies’ group & handed out candy.
Definitely the cutest pumpkin ever!!!

What an adorable pumpkin!
What a fabulous post Karen, I love the picture of you & Caleb. I think the purple & orange on the card is just gorgeous. I’m so impressed to see you in a halloween orange cardigan….
The book I ordered was Carla Sonheim’s Drawing Lab. It’s fun and inspiring me to try,
