Anniversary Take Three

  • by

It’s not often that I can combine a group of challenges with cards I need to make. I had a few Flair for Buttons badges laying on my desk thinking I’d use them to make some anniversary cards that need to go into the mail in the next few weeks. Then late last week, up popped several challenges that all worked together. I started with a new sketch challenge: CAS(E) this sketch!

I punched hearts and a circle which qualified the cards for the Simon Says Challenge: Use Dies or Punches

And finally the CAS-UAL Fridays challenge:  Put Your Heart Into It.

Here are the three cards. I started with the Flair button and chose the patterned paper and cardstock based on the colors in the button.

All three cards also qualify for a challenge on Moxie Fab for “love” cards.

(Cardstock:  Neenah & Color Mates; patterned paper:  MME: Stella Rose & Happy Go Lucky, October Afternoon: Cherry Hill; buttons:  A Flair for Buttons; and sentiment stamp: Savvy; Punches: McGill)

  1. Oh my, these are so lovely! I have some little button badges that I rediscovered last week, and this design would be perfect for getting them onto some cards 🙂

  2. These are fabulous! Great job with the sketch… these would make a great gift-set, in all different colors. 🙂 Thanks so much for participating in the ‘Punches & Dies’ challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp challenge blog! xo

  3. It so fun to see how the slight changes in color create differing feelings – you are really good at monochromatic palettes especially!

  4. These are all great. I love them all but I have to say the bright white really appeals to me. I love how it makes the hearts pop! So happy you joined us at CAS(E) this Sketch!

  5. What a fabulous design! So perfect for the Flair and of course your own “flair” with the colour combinations gives added punch

  6. Such a perfect execution of a great sketch and which feels totally do-able for a non cardmaker like me! I could see this being a great Christmas card design too …
