I love nearly every shade of red, so I’m always happy to see another red crayon emerge from the box over at Project 64! Because we’re in the midst of trying to get ready for a big weekend here, I didn’t have as much time to hunt as usual. The first two images were taken on the Cornell campus last Saturday. The ivy is turning red on the School of Industrial and Labor Realtions School.
And finally, the top to my new (big splurge) teapot for the new kitchen—a black and white checked teapot with a red top. Our new kitchen boasts white cupboards, black counters, and red is the accent (red kitchen chairs, a red message board, etc.) I couldn’t resist the teapot, and we hated our old one.
What a lovely shade of red 🙂 I hope we get to see the rest of the teapot some time!
My computer is grindingly slow at the moment and only downloaded one photo of leaves – but it’s a beautiful one!
It’s a cute top, I would have loved to see the entire teapot, but I bet it must be nice too.
I’m just going with a Wow here, the leaves and the teapot top!
Gorgeously rich shade .. Here’s another voting to see to teapot!
The ivy was perfect for this color!
I enjoyed all your LSNED “learnings” and what a cute mini-album you have. We’re planning to get a DSLR camera for Christmas, so next year I will be focusing on learning more about photography. Sounds like you had a good month of learning. I like that you focused on the one topic for LSNED – might try that next year.
Ooooh I love the red teapot topper! My new kitchen is black and white with red and yellow accents. Great minds think alike. ;o)
Lovely shade of red. From your second photo it looks like it’s the virginia creeper that’s turning red.
And that does look a very interesting teapot
