Today’s prompt for Creativity Bootcamp was “Ivory” and the piano keyboard was the first thing that came to mind. One thing I decided to do with this class is to play with some new techniques. Today I used a photo mask for the first time and played with some of the Pioneer Woman Actions.

Very cool! Great interpretation and I love how you played around with different looks! Thanks so much for participating!
I’m also in love with trying out new actions. I used one called “whipped cream” on my first assignment today. Feel free to stop by

Happy Boot Camping!
Just saw your post on my blog…
You should for sure check out that action. It’s one of my favs! I love a nice creamy color to my photos.
Thanks for visiting!
Love the 70’s action!Nice interpretation of the prompt.
Rinda (just back from a weekend away)
I’m not a photographer so I’m amazed at how the same picture can look so wonderfully different. Beautiful job.
oh, i am so jealous of your knowledge of actions. i am very green when it comes to ps. where do you find/use these actions? please tell…please? love you shots.
Oh, I like!!! All of them!!! 🙂
I always have fun trying out actions too! I used an PW action on my day one photo too. I used the “lovely and ethereal” – one of my favorites!
Well, it’s great Karen – I chose a keyboard too after a few failed attempts with chess pieces!
Masks are great aren’t they? And of course the 70’s action is one of my favourites – it suits the keyboard very well 🙂
Great effects,Karen
I think that seventies action is a complete winner here! I’m still struggling with the Boot Camp prompts, it just hasn’t really got me going yet, you know? I’ll definitely be following what everyone is up to all the same 🙂
Love the use of actions Karen! Are you using PhotoShop CS or elements? I have PSE8 but have not yet learned about actions and I’m wondering if they are even available for Elements.
Fun… playing.
