Papertrey Anniversary Challenge

  • by

The anniversary festivities are winding down at Papertrey Ink, but there was another challenge today. The “assignment” was to create a set of floral embellishments, and then use one to create a card. For today’s flowers I used Jeni Bowlin papers form the mini sets. They are easiest to crumple since they are text weight paper rather than the stiffer scrapbook papers. I used my Nestabilities “Blossom” and cut three different sizes from seven different papers. I sewed some Papertrey buttons to the middle.

For the card I used Pure Poppy and Kraft cardstock from Papertrey, a piece of cream cardstock from my stash, the Houndstooth Embossing folder by Cuttlebug, a Quickutz tag and leaves, and piece of gingham ribbon. The sentiment is an Amuse stamp.

  1. Great job, I agree the red and black are a stand out. I have enjoyed viewing everyones attempts at the challenge. I just stumbled upon this through Paper craft magazine. I need to find out more about how to join you all in your group. I would love it. Thanks JLV
