The current challenge at Time Out is inspiration from a photograph:
I was inspired by the bright flowers and created a CAS card with two pretty flowers from Altenew’s “Adore” stamp set.
I started with a white card base, and added the Papertrey Ink “Bold Borders: Wave” in white as a frame. After coloring the flowers with Copic markers, I fussy cut them and added them to the card after stamping a sentiment from Right at Home’s ” Grateful Heart” in black.
I added some white dots with a Signo broad pen to the center of the orange flower. This went off to a friend almost as soon as it was made!
I love white on white textured backgrounds! Your cursive sentiment goes well with the border curves too.
I like the background frame, really adds a subtle punch.
This is a real winner! Love the colours, the white-on-white, and such attention to detail with the white dots in the centre of the orange flower! She should love it!
You’ve used some of my favorite Altenew flowers! The bright colors really pop from the all white base and I love the way you’ve brought interest to your background with that embossing folder. Very elegant! Thank you for taking Time Out and joining our challenge!
I absolutely love your ‘white-on-white’ background and the pattern of the background die is gorgeous in white too. All that white area really makes those bright flowers pop and the sentiment fits in perfectly. Its a fantastic card and I’m so glad you shared it with us at TIME OUT!
Those are indeed a glorious splash of colour – I like your white-on-white background echoing the shapes of the petals.
