I’m CASEing myself with this card. It’s the same general design as my previous cards with an addition of a strip of patterned paper from Papertrey Ink’s Three Piece Suit paper pad which has been in my stash for years. I needed a masculine card for a note of encouragement, and luckily, The Paper Players are looking for CAS Masculine cards.
With the exception of the patterned paper, all the dies used are from The Greetery: The pen (Pen Pal), the postal background (Postal Frames), and the sentiment (Scripted Sentiments.)
When the Pen Pal dies were introduced, Betsy showcased some of them with patterned and stamped papers, so I gave that a try which I quite like.
In addition to the Paper Players, this is also off to the Word Power Challenge where the sentiment should take center stage.
Stylist card. The Pen Pal dies are earning their keep with you. The paper name, Three Piece Suit is such an appropriate name for it.
This is AMAZING! That pen looks REAL and your sentiment is just perfect. Great guy patterns as well! Thanks for playing with our challenge this week at the Players!
This is fabulous! I love the choice of papers – chic masculine. The paper pieced pen is genius and I love how it threads through the sentiment. Thank you for joining in with my CAS Masculine challenge at The Paper Players. 🙂
Love those touches of gold! Perfectly CAS and masculine!
Your card is so classy and elegant, Karen. The paper strip and the pen woven into the sentiment are fabulous details, yet everything remains CAS. Who wouldn’t love to have a pen like that? Love it! Thanks for joining in at the Paper Players this week!
Oh Karen, this is just FABULOUS! Absolutely awesome! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our WORD POWER challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

This is a really handsome, masculine card! I love everything about it! tfs
Karen, this is fabulous. I love that DSP and I love that you added it as a side panel – and as the pen! Perfect masculine card. So glad you shared it with us at the Paper Players this week

The originals must have made an impression on me, as I remembered them immediately. This is just as lovely, and sure to be appreciated by the lucky recipient.
Such a handsome card, Karen! I love how you chose the patterned paper for the pen–adds to the masculinity!
