This week’s color at Project 64 is indigo. Indigo has always been one of my favorite colors. It was very easy to find in our house:
1. Our couch 2. Bowl from Mexico 3. Ornate bowl my father bought for his mother when he was stationed in the Coast Guard during WW II 4. Our mantle decorations: indigo candles from Target, indigo in the quilt; indigo pitcher 5. My mother’s indigo cut glass vase 6. Jug with indigo design and indigo flowers 7. Indigo and yellow vase
And another indigo bowl with blueberries:
Truth is there are other examples in nearly every room in the house. I doubt there’ll be another color that’s so prevalent here.
Indigo has never been a color that “speaks” to me, but seeing all the delightful touches of it in your home makes me want to come visit! Especially love the blueberries in the bowl and that glass vase with the daisies!
This is a colour I love as well…..the blueberries and bowl photo is just perfect.
It is so interesting how we are attracted to certain colors. I had more Indigo than I thought around my house. Although, I am a “green” gal the most. lol
All of your shots are beautiful.
Love the last shot. I’m not a big blue fan myself.

Beautiful captures!
Great photos Karen! This truly was an easy color for you. I really like your mantle decorations – I always like to see quilts hung as decor.
I just love all your finds! Thanks for joining us at Project64.
Gorgeous photos – and I’m a little bit in love with that cut class vase.
Wow! You have so many beautiful indogo things! I really love the bowl with blueberries though.
Your photos are lovely… and so many lovely indigo touches in your house. Did you run out and buy the blueberries? I would have!
I’d do well if the color was red!
What a lovely collage! Just looking at this I can tell your house is beautiful. 🙂
Love the composition of the bowl and berries.
Thanks for your visit.
You have some absolutely lovely little touches of blue in your room – and it seems like you have a fondness for pitchers and bowls. I do too.
You have such beautiful things in your home, Karen! I love indigo too …
I am so impressed with the amount of indigo you managed to find! The bowl and blueberries is the perfect combination, unfortunately they would not last long enough to photograph in my house as my children are addicted to them!
beautiful! All of them, I really like the bowl in the collage and the blueberries!
Thank you for linking up with project64
Well, now I know where all my indigo went! Lovely shots. I think I like the last one with the (indigo)berries the best.
Oh dear, my blog link didn’t work. I think I typed it in wrong. I hope this one is better.
Hi Karen ~ I’m playing catch-up this morning and it’s so fun to be back on your blog looking at your amazing photos. I LOVE the one of the blueberries in the bowl. That would be so pretty framed for a kitchen…
Your indigo is gorgeous! I love seeing all of this color you have around the house.
Congratulations for this winning photo!
Beautiful photos Karen and my congratulations for winning project 64 favourite photo this week. x
