I sure hope Typepad comes out with an iPad app soon. There’s no way to alternate text with photos on the iPhone app I’m using now. I’ll be home to post this week’s color, but here are my tumbleweed shots. By chance, we were in the desert this week, so finding tumbleweed was not a problem. The real tumbleweed was found at the Painted Desert, and the rest of the photos were taken at the Desert Museum in Tucson.
These are just fabulous Karen. I love the bird so much! Hope you are enjoying your trip x
Love the sign in the tree, and the textures of all of these are fantastic!

I love looking at your posts for this project. It really makes me look at what is around me colourwise. Your photography is terrific too, my husband is very impressed (also a photographer).
Beautiful photos, Karen! Hope you are having fun on your trip. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I am so sorry, but your card will be a few days late – this year is just kicking my butt, seriously. I am so behind. Anyway, wishing you your best year yet!
These close-ups are stunning – I adore texture. And the bird is lovely – what is it?
A beautiful collection of natural colours and textures Karen. Your photos always repay a close look!
should I be jealous that you got to photograph real tumbleweed???
Great photos – you did have the perfect shots for this color!
