A quick post to share a card for the new Addicted to CAS Challenge: Flower, and the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: CAS.
I’ve used several of the images from the Waffle Flower “Bouquet Builder 4” set, but this one seems to be my favorite.
I stamped the image on watercolor paper and used my Karin watercolor markers. I love how vibrant the colors are. Then I used a very light blue wash around the flower. I’m always a bit hesitant to try this for fear I’ll ruin the whole thing, but it worked out fine in this case.
I added a white embossed sentiment stamped on black cardstock from The Greetery’s “Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You.” Then as I often do, I die cut that panel and a dark blue panel with the Gina K “Master Layout” dies and layered them onto a bright blue cardbase. It’s definitely a CAS design!
Beautiful blues on this card & what a cheerful card to receive for anyone suffering from the “blues”.
Love the shades of blue together and the colored card base — fabulous! Thanks for joining in at ATCAS
Stunning card, as always. The light pool of blue behind this one works well.
