Monday I shared a photo from the Eastman Museum’s beautiful garden. I was particularly taken with the red poppies which sometimes are a challenge to photograph. This time I had enough good ones to share for Helena’s SNAP meme which asks for three or four related photos.
It’s interesting to me how different the greens look depending on the angle (and therefore, the light) of the photograph. Off to see the other SNAP collections for the week.
Poppies mean so many things to so many people. There isn’t another flower like them
beautiful and yes interesting how the colours change according to light and shade
wow- fabulous photos of one of my favorite flowers!
Oh this is a favourite SNAP collection – poppies are so pretty – the petals are just like tissue paper.
What a gorgeous set of images!
Wonderful…just wonderful.
It’s interesting that it was discussed not long ago how blue can be difficult to photograph but you are right red can be . I have some red roses that I just can’t get right. Your pictures have come out well. Some very spectacular poppies.
Such a beautiful collection of photographs and you have captured them beautifully.
Oooh yes, big colour variations! Would have liked to have seen these IRL. (For some reason I find poppy buds a bit scary-looking!)
I love love love poppies! I agree red can be difficult to photograph. This week my purple Clematis looks blue on screen. A fabulous set for Snap Karen x
My Mom’s favorite flower!
