Team-up Thursday: All in a Row

  • by

Nancy and I “fell off the wagon” when it came to Team-up Thursday during the fall. Nancy was doing a lot of traveling, and then the holidays were upon us. We’re back at it, and our photos really represent two different seasons. Nancy’s colorful bikes make me wish for spring or summer. It’s been snowing here all day, and we have at least another foot of snow. I got a shot at the birds at the birdfeeder, but decided on the icicles hanging from the kitchen window since it was much easier to make a diptych when the photos are in the same orientation.

But for fun, here are two shots of the birds at the feeder in the front yard. They’ve been swarming there all day.

And the birds in a row.

  1. This is a great idea, Karen, and since I’m fairly new to your blog I hadn’t heard of you doing this before. I’m going to pass this idea along to my Carrie as we were just talking the other day about coming up with ideas/challenges for each other to help us through Project 365. Your photos are lovely!

  2. I love the icicle shot Karen! I’ve been snapping away quite a bit but they have been family photos, photos of the kids and funny little things – I am itching to get out and take some of my surrounds now!

  3. Great photos together! But I love the birds at the feeder… all in a row!! So cute!
Hope you’re enjoying your snow. I love it so much more now that I’m retired.
    Hugs!!

  4. I’ve definitely missed this feature your blog! And didn’t you used to do a gratitude feature, too (I only remember b/c I was totally riding your coattails and posting my gratitude here, in the hopes of someday coming back and pulling the journaling – LOL!).

  5. We had ice but no icicles 🙁 What a great contrast in seasons. The simple icicles and the colorful bikes work great together! Welcome back!

  6. Love the icicles. We’ve got cold here but nothing fun to come out of it, like snow. But, I prefer the weather in the bicycles shot truthfully. Not a cold weather gal. Hey, bicycles and icicles! Nice dip, team.
