The Farmer’s Market: Hybrid Scrapping

  • by

We’ve always loved farmer’s markets and have enjoyed ones in Oakland, CA, Princeton, NJ, and Ithaca, NY. The last three years, we’ve had a very nice one right here in Brighton at the high school. We rarely miss a Sunday from late May to the end of October. Two weeks ago I took a group of photos and popped them into a template by Paislee Press. I added a digital paper by Alexa and then printed it out and adhered it to a piece of patterned paper by My Mind’s Eye.

I printed the journaling on an Avery tag and added (once again) a Flair button. If every layout I made came together so quickly, I’d have a lot more pages in my albums!

  1. Beautiful photos and the flair button is perfect. My son Henry is so sad that all the summer fruit (nectarines, peaches, strawberries) is gone from the farmers markets.

  2. I love that striped background paper. We have a lot of farmers markets over here. Also farm shops which sell great cheap produce that is grown right on their doorstep!

  3. Lovely page! I’m going to pin this for later because I have too many Farmer’s Market pictures. I really like the mix of fonts you used – I’ve been reading lately on how better to pair fonts together.
And was the Oakland market the Grand Lake Farmer’s Market? That’s the one I go to 🙂

  4. This is such a great design, Karen – the three squares of plain paper with the title is a lovely balance. Not to mention that cleverly positioned button linking the tag and the photos. Please may I scraplift?

  5. Karen, this is a fabulous page, the photos, the papers the template is a great choice – the whole lot has come together very well!
